18 lbs down!

I lost a total of 18 lbs from doing the 60 day slimdown!!  I'll post before and after pictures later.  I'm really happy, that means only 14 more until my pre pregnancy weight and a total of 30 more until my goal weight.

I finished Burn Basics 1 and I loved it, lifting weights is my least favorite type of exercise but it was a lot better with the dvd.  I need to increase my weights next time because I didn't reach muscle failure in a few exercises.  Right now the kids are still sleeping even though they are normally up by now... stinkers!  Of course they sleep in when I'm already wide awake.. :)  Once L is home I'm going to go ride my bike and then later we're going to take the kids somewhere fun!

Goals

I thought I'd type my first post one handed while feeding the baby a bottle with the other.. got to love multitasking!  At the end of this week I'll have completed Lindsay Brin's 60 Day Slimdown which has been perfect for the postnatal period.  I gained 40 lbs with the pregnancy, have lost 16 lbs since starting the program, and still have 16 more to go. (I lost 20 after the birth and gained 12 back within the first month... stress eating is no good!)  Pants that I couldn't button without fat hanging over are now too big so I would say it's been a success... :)  I'll post before and after pictures once I'm done!

I am going to start Beachbody's ChaLean Extreme on Monday and am really excited!  Just google before and after pictures and you'll see why.  I was originally going to do P90X but after looking at all of the programs ChaLean's seem a lot more fun and Extreme looks like it will fit in perfectly with my running schedule.  I'm also going to start drinking Shakeology in place of lunch and I'm really curious to see if it's as great as everyone says it is... we will see!

My fitness goals are to run a 5k in September, run a 10k in October, get back to 146 by October, run a half marathon in March, and be back to 130 by April.  My ultimate goal is to maintain 130 by making fitness and healthy eating a permanent part of my life... working out is easy for me but eating healthy has always been more of a challenge.  I've struggled a lot I finally feel like I've found the perfect eating plan for me.  More on that later...
